We used blogs to answer questions about the readings in the books we had. This provided a forum to see what others had thought about a particular story. It was interesting to see that and occasionally changed the way I looked at the story I had read. Some people interpreted what we had read completely differently and it was interesting to read why they thought what they did. I tended to write my answer, then read it over once or twice and make small corrections, and then submit it.

Writing electronically occasionally changed what I wrote, but only because I could see what others had written. The same thing could be done on paper and this still would have happened. I wrote my answer to the question, but sometimes I also addressed what others had thought. It gave me an opportunity to see what the audience might be thinking as well as what other interpretations of the text might be. This let me adjust my answer accordingly.
